Mrs. Emma E.(Zoller) Lowerre

Mrs. Emma E.(Zoller) Lowerre 86 of 146 Brookside Drive Stamford, VT. died Tuesday August 20, 2002 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont following a brief illness. She was born in New Foundland, New Jersey on January 10, 1916 a daughter of the late Edward Zoller and Anna M .(Pyde) Zoller. She was educated in the schools of New Foundland, New Jersey and graduated from the New Foundland High School. She was a resident of Rockaway, New Jersey from 1934 until she moved to Readsboro, VT. in the early 1970’s and had resided in Stamford, VT. since the early 1990’s. She was a member of the Stamford Community Church of Stamford, Vermont and a devoted homemaker for her family. Her husband was Franklin Granger Lowerre, Jr. whom she married on March 17, 1934 in Rockaway, New Jersey and he died on April 28, 2000 in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Survivors include three daughters Marilyn Emig of Chester, New Hampshire; Virginia Koziol of the State of Virginia and Carolyn Codogni of Readsboro, Vermont and 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A sister Elizabeth Spencer of State of New Jersey and a brother John Zoller of the State of New Jersey and nieces nephews grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Doruth A. Standridge on June 24, 1984 and two sons Franklin C.Lowerre,III on July 12, 1998 and William Lowerre in infancy. Also, three sister and two brothers are deceased including Anna Voelker, Frieda Coursen, Wanda Post, Carl Zoller and Fred Zoller. Private memorial services will take place, Thursday August 22, 2002 at 11:30 A.M. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals West Chapels 521 West Main Street, North Adams, Mass with the Rev. William R. Wilson Pastor of the Stamford Community Church of Stamford Vermont officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Village Cemetery Readsboro, Vermont. There are no calling hours. In lieu of Flowers, donations in her memory are suggested for the Stamford Community Church through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montogoa Home for Funerals 521 West Main St. North Adams. Mass 01247 which is in charge of arrangements.
