Julia M. Lominski

Julia M. Lominski, 96, a longtime resident of Putnam Street, Bennington, Vt., formerly of Adams, died yesterday at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Born in Adams on Feb. 4, 1906, daughter of the late Albert and Agnes Wawrzynik Krawczyk, she attended schools in Bennington. In earlier years, Mrs. Lominski was employed by E.Z. Mill and later at Thomson Manufacturing Co. in Bennington. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed growing raspberries in her garden and visiting nursing home patients. Her home and family were her main interests. Her husband, Philip Lominski, whom she married at St. Francis de Sales Church, Bennington, died March 8, 1938. She leaves a daughter, Pauline Kulas of Cheshire; three brothers, Joseph L. Krawczyk Sr. and Raymond Krawczyk, both of Bennington, and Peter Krawczyk of Pownal, Vt.; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Philip J. Lominski. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral will be held from MAHAR & SON FUNERAL HOME on Monday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. with a prayer and from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church at 10:30 a.m. where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 when the family will be in attendance. The Vigil Service will be offered Sunday at 2. Burial will take place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery. If friends desire, contributions in memory of Mrs. Lominski may be made to either Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church or the Bennington Rescue Squad through the funeral home, 628 Main St., Bennington, VT 05201. She was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Barbara Rysz; two sisters, Veronica Coonradt and Geneva Krawczyk; five brothers, William, John, Charles, Paul and Michael Krawczyk.
