Mildred Katherine Paciorek, 89, of 68 Maple St. died early yesterday morning at her home. Born in Adams on Feb. 8, 1914, daughter of Franciszek and Aniela Swistak Srama, she attended local schools. Mrs. Paciorek first worked in the cloth room at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. for several years. She then worked as a domestic for the Daniels family in Adams for several years. She last worked at the former Cornish Wire Corp. in Williamstown for several years until retiring in 1976. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and a member and past president of Adams Post 160 American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, Stanley C. Paciorek, whom she married May 30, 1939, died Jan. 25, 1990. She leaves two sons, Stanley F. Paciorek and Daniel J. Paciorek, both of Adams; a daughter, Virginia J. Paciorek of West Springfield; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 5, at 9:15 from the AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers may be sent, or memorial donations may be made to the Fund for Hospice at the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Northern Berkshire, which provided Hospice care to Mrs. Paciorek and her family, or to the Felician Sisters of Enfield, Conn., through the funeral home. Mrs. Paciorek leaves three grandchildren, John S. Paciorek and Carla M. Thomas, both of Adams, and Christina M. Paciorek of West Springfield; a great-granddaughter, Monica C. Thomas of Adams; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Stanley and Charles Srama, and two sisters, Mary Srama and Lottie Kordana.
