Dena Kneipfer

Dena Kneipfer, 83, of 17 West Road, died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on April 13, 1919,daughter of Anthony and Mary Delmolino Delmolino, she was a graduate of the former Adams High School. Mrs. Kneipfer was employed in the admissions office of Williams College for several years. She also had worked at Northern Berkshire District Court in North Adams, Adams Town Hall and Adams Co-Operative Bank. She was a member of First Congregational Church, where she once taught Sunday school and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed braiding rugs, gardening and dancing to big band music. She leaves her husband, Roy Kneipfer, whom she married July 20, 1940. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Ronald Kneipfer of Narragansett, R.I.; a daughter, Karen Rousseau of Hinsdale; two brothers, Leo Delmolino of Williamstown and Reno Delmolino of Eustis, Fla.; four grandsons and two great-granddaughters. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Dena Kneipfer will be private. There will be no calling hours. Remembrances may be sent to the Kneipfer family at P.O. Box 245, Hinsdale, MA 01235. Memorial donations may be made to the Adams Council on Aging, 20 East St., Adams, MA 01220. AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., is in charge of arrangements. She leaves her daughter-in-law, Virginia Kneipfer; her son-in-law, Anthony Rousseau; four grandsons, Jeffrey and Eric Kneipfer and Scott and Christopher Rousseau; two great-granddaughters, Amanda and Abigail Kneipfer; two granddaughters-in-law, Maryellen Rousseau and Leslie Kneipfer; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Irma Bartini and Alma Smachetti.
