Kenton D. Reid II, 8, of 136 April Lane died Saturday in Norwalk, Conn., as the result of a drowning accident. Born in San Diego on March 22, 1994, son of Kenton D. Reid and Renee Nicole Davies, he was a pupil at Williams Elementary School. He enjoyed dancing, skateboarding and basketball. Besides his mother, of Pittsfield, and his father, of San Diego, he leaves two brothers, Terrell Davies and Coyte Maisonet, both at home; a sister, Kiana Reid, at home; his maternal grandmother, Lavaughn Davies of New York City, and his paternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Draggin of New York City. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Kenton D. Reid, 8, will be conducted Wednesday at 4 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Chuck Young. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3 to 4 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to either the Mitchell West Scholarship Fund or to the Boys' and Girls' Club Swimming Program, both in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
