Florence Mary Beaudin

Florence Mary Beaudin, 88, of St. Joseph’s Court, Apt. 205, died Friday at Sunbridge Care Center in Northampton. Born in North Adams on the family farm on Jan. 27, 1915, daughter of Joseph LaBonte and Roseanna Dupre LaBonte Forgette, she attended schools in North Adams. She resided in the Springfield area for many years and returned to North Adams in the early 1980s. Mrs. Beaudin was employed with the former Hunter Outdoor Products Co. for several years. Prior to that, she worked for many years at the former Sickles Co. in Chicopee. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and, while in the Springfield area, a communicant of Notre Dame Church there. She enjoyed bowling. Her husband, Alfred Beaudin, is deceased. She leaves a son, Robert Joseph Beaudin of Huntington; a brother, Edward LaBonte of North Adams; two sisters, Eugenia Ross of North Adams and Agnes Moffett of Pittsfield; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Florence Mary LaBonte Beaudin will be Tuesday at 10:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, State Road, North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, March 24, from 3 to 6. Memorial donations are suggested for the American Cancer Society through the funeral home. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Paula Beaudin Lloyd and Jeffery Beaudin, and three great-grandchildren, Justin Beaudin, Aaron Beaudin and Heather Rose Lloyd. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis LaBonte, and four sisters, Flora Moffett, Doris Duquette, Alma Martin and Rose Perras.
