Brian Daniel Dalton, 38, of Marietta, Ga., formerly of Adams, died Sunday at home. Born in Albany, N.Y., on March 14, 1965, son of Ann Paquette Dalton Clark of Cheshire and the late Daniel F. Dalton, he was a 1983 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School, where he was on the varsity football and track teams. He attended Westfield State College, where he played football. Mr. Dalton had been employed at Dobbins Air Force Base in Marietta for two years. He previously had been employed by various agencies in Massachusetts and in Georgia for working with special-needs children. He was a Boy Scout for several years and enjoyed sports. Besides his mother, he leaves his stepfather, David H. Clark of Cheshire; his stepmother, Frances Dalton of Woodstock, Ga.; a daughter, Courtney Anne Dalton of Woodstock, and a sister, Karen Fields of Acworth, Ga. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mr. Brian Daniel Dalton will be Friday, March 28, at 9:15 at DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire by the Rev. David A. Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, Thursday, from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Equus Therapeutic Riding Program at Oakhollow Farm in Williamstown in care of the funeral home, 121 North State Road, Cheshire, MA 01225. He also leaves his companion, Brenda Batiste of Acworth, Ga.
