Hazel Charlott Mae Kornn, 87, of 2000 Jackson Church Road, Tennille, Ga., formerly of Williamstown, died Monday at Oconee (Ga.) Health Care. Born in Warren on March 11, 1916, daughter of William R. and Fanny Belle Lewis Wetherell, she attended schools in Warren. She was a resident of Williamstown from 1958 until 1978, when she moved to Georgia. A homemaker, Mrs. Kornn was a member of Jacksonâ€™s Baptist Church in Tennille. Her husband, Elmer Henry Kornn, is deceased. They were married Nov. 20, 1934. She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth Kornn Green of Tennille; five sons, Eugene Kornn of Williamstown, Earl Kornn of Adams, Ernest Kornn of Pittsfield, and Ralph and Jerry Kornn, both of Harrison, Ga.; three brothers, Harold Wetherell of Harrison, John Wetherell of St. Petersburg, Fla., and James Wetherell of Riddleville, Ga.; two sisters, Etta W. Durocher of Ashville, N.C., and Mary W. Gratton of Pomfret, Conn.; 20 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A funeral service for Hazel Charlotte Mae Kornn will be conducted Friday, April 18, at 11 at MAY AND SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Tennille Chapel (478-552-7478), by the Rev. Mike Jones.
