Lucille L. Lagesse

Lucille L. Lagesse, 88, of 17 Albert St. died Sunday at home. Born in Adams on May 28, 1914, daughter of George and Rose Lavigne Lagesse, she attended local schools. Miss Lagesse was employed for 20 years in the card-set production department of the former General Cable Co. in Pownal, Vt., retiring in 1979. She also had worked for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates for many years. Following her retirement, she worked as a home-health aide for the Visiting Nurses Association. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas. She leaves a niece, Sandra A. Underwood of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Lucille L. Lagesse will be celebrated Wednesday, April 23, at 10 in Notre Dame Church by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours will be today, April 22, from 4 to 7 at TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Church through the funeral home. She also leaves a nephew, E. Alfred Keiener of northeast Maryland; two grandnephews, Eric Underwood of Pittsfield and Todd Underwood of Winnipeg, Canada, and several other nieces and nephews.
