Rodney Allen LeBeau

Rodney Allen LeBeau, 55, of 53 Tilda Hill Road died yesterday morning after a long illness. Born in Adams on March 7, 1948, son of Dorena M. Allen LeBeau and the late Joseph A. LeBeau, he was a 1966 graduate of the former Adams Memorial High School. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1967 to 1970. Mr. LeBeau had been employed by Massachusetts Electric Co. on Brown Street in North Adams for 32 years. He was a life member of Dr. George L. Curran Post 996 Veterans of Foreign Wars in North Adams and a member of the Veterans of Overseas Service Association. He was a member of the Berkshire Night Cruisers Club, participating in many area car shows, and was proud of his 1967 Ford Galaxy 500. He also enjoyed hunting. Besides his mother and his former wife and caregiver, Jay Ellen LeBeau, with whom he made his home, he leaves a son, Brent A. LeBeau of Pittsfield; a sister, Judith A. Zelazik of West Brookfield, and a brother, James A. LeBeau of Dover, Del. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Rodney Allen LeBeau will be Friday at 10:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247, with a Funeral Mass at 11 at Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 7. Donations to VNA & Hospice of North Berkshire in care of the funeral home. Survivors include his former wife and caregiver, Jay Ellen LeBeau, with whom he made his home, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
