Joseph Raymond Chrostowski

Joseph Raymond Chrostowski, 80, of Millhouse Apartments, 75 Commercial St., died early yesterday morning at home. Born in Pittsfield on July 10, 1922, son of John and Maryanna Danilowicz Chrostowski, he attended Pittsfield schools. He had lived in Adams for 30 years. Mr. Chrostowski worked as a delivery man for Carr Hardware Co. in Pittsfield until retiring 15 years ago. While in Pittsfield, he was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Polish Community Club. He leaves his wife, the former Mary M. Way; a sister, Nellie Mendel of Adams, and a brother, Frank Chrostowski of Largo, Fla. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Joseph Raymond Chrostowski died May 4, 2003. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 7, at 10 at AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Pittsfield. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice through the funeral home. Mr. Chrostowski also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
