Shirley Anne Kosakowski, 59, of Prospect Street, Housatonic, died yesterday morning at Fairview Commons Nursing Home following a battle with multiple sclerosis. She had resided at Fairview Commons since 1976. Born in Great Barrington on Feb. 12, 1944, daughter of Anthony Kosakowski of Housatonic and the late Dorothy Supernaugh Kosakowski, she attended local schools and was a 1961 graduate of the former Searles High School. She worked for the former Peter J. Schweitzer Division of Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Lee for a few years. She was a member of All Saintsâ€™ Church in Housatonic. She enjoyed working with ceramics. Besides her father, she leaves a sister, Susan Kosakowski of Housatonic. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Shirley Anne Kosakowski will be Saturday, June 14, 2003, at 10 at St. Bridgetâ€™s Cemetery in Housatonic. There will be no calling hours. Shirley is survived by her father, Anthony Kosakowski, and her sister, Susan Kosakowski, both of Housatonic. She also leaves the staff at Fairview Commons, who cared for her for so many years.
