Ann Mary Dellert, 64, of 136 Friend St. died yesterday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital shortly after being admitted. Born in North Adams on Jan. 10, 1939, daughter of Vincent DeMayo and the late Hazel Tischendorf DeMayo Roberts, she was a graduate of the former St. Josephâ€™s High School. Mrs. Dellert owned and operated the former Idyll Gift Shop on Park Street from 1987 until selling the business in 1999. Earlier, she had worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co. at the North Adams office. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas. She was known for her arts and crafts and enjoyed camping and traveling in her mobile home. She and her husband, Donald F. Dellert, would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary Sept. 3. Besides her husband and father, of Williamstown, she leaves two daughters, Kathryn A. Kothlow of Riverside, Calif., and Karen M. Richert of Plainville; a brother, James DeMayo of West Stockbridge; a sister, Judith Clarno of Adams, and six grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Ann DeMayo Dellert will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 11:45 from AugÃ©-Paciorek-Simmons Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:30 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and St. Stanislaus, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donorâ€™s choice through the funeral home. She also leaves six grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Eileen and Erin Kothlow, all of Riverside, Calif.; and Nicholas and Christopher Richert, both of Plainville, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
