Clarice Bourdon

Clarice Bourdon, 73, of 149 Church St., died Wednesday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in North Adams on Sept. 20, 1929, daughter of Joseph W. and Mary L. Bissaillon Bourdon, she attended local schools. Ms. Bourdon was employed as a clerk in the mail room at the former North Adams State College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She retired in 1988. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas’ in Adams. She leaves a brother, Donald Bourdon of Adams, and a sister, Murial Phelps of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Clarice Bourdon will be Saturday, June 28, at 9 at TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in Notre Dame Church in Adams by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and St. Stanislaus Kostka in Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today, Friday, from 5 to 7. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Norman Bourdon, and a sister, Doris Contois.
