Stacie L. Florio

Stacie L. Florio, 40, of East Road died Friday at home after a brief illness. Ms Florio formerly owned and operated Florio’s Pizza, which was located at Mom’s Restaurant in Egremont. Born in Queens, N.Y., on Feb. 17, 1963, daughter of Stephen and Barbara Dombrowski D’Alessio, she attended schools there. She had also worked at various restaurants in the area, and enjoyed spending time in her gardens. Besides her parents, of Mount Washington, she leaves three sisters, Donna Ball of Canaan, Conn., Stephanie D’Alessio of Sheffield and Beth D’Alessio of New York City; two brothers, Steven D’Alessio of Sheffield and Christopher D’Alessio of Hampton Bays, N.Y. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christial Burial for Stacie L. Florio will be celebrated Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at 11 at St. Peter’s Church in Great Barrington by the Rev. Daniel Papineau, MIC. Burial will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends tomorrow from 4 to 7 at FINNERTY AND STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington. Survivors include several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Tricia D’Alessio Webber, in 1999. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Berkshire Volunteer Ambulance Squad through the funeral home, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
