Olga G. Koloski

Olga G. Koloski, 90, formerly of Sandisfield, died Tuesday at Hammond Pointe Skilled Care Center at Chestnut Hill in Brookline, where she had resided for two years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sept. 9, 1913, daughter of Vasily and Anna Rosalia Zeida Gregoski, she attended schools in Sandisfield and Lee High School. She resided in Pittsfield from 1941 to 1946, but had lived most of her life in Sandisfield. Mrs. Koloski was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sandisfield Grange, Historical Society and Senior Center. She also was elected secretary of the Sandisfield Taxpayers Association in the 1970s. Her husband, Stanley J. Koloski, died Jan. 11, 1961. She leaves two sons, Stanley F. Koloski of Valatie, N.Y., and Donald W. Koloski of Carrabelle, Fla.; two daughters, Ann O. Koloski-Ostrow of Newton and Susan J. Koloski of Winsted, Conn., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A calling hour for Olga G. Koloski, who died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, will be Thursday, Sept. 11, from 1 to 2 at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, which is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Sandisfield Center Cemetery.
