Jean Esther Seney

Jean Esther Seney, 48, of 17 Pleasant St. died early yesterday morning at North Adams Commons after a long illness. Born in Adams on Nov. 19, 1954, daughter of Theresa Carignan Brandon of Adams and the late Arthur G. Brandon Sr., she attended local schools. Mrs. Seney was a homemaker. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and enjoyed working with the local 4-H Club. She and her husband, Gerald Seney, were married July 4, 1980, in Notre Dame Church. Besides her mother and husband, she leaves a son, Gerald Seney Jr. of Adams; a daughter, Jennifer Seney of Northampton; two brothers, Robert Brandon of Agawam and Arthur Brandon Jr. of Adams; two sisters, Anne Zoito of Cleversdale, N.Y., and Laura Zielonko of Hinsdale. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Jean Esther Seney will take place Thursday, Sept. 18, at 10 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., with the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Stanislaus, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 9 until the time of the service. The family requests the omission of flowers.
