Victoria Ann Bell

Victoria Ann Bell, 42, of 417 North St. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center after suffering a stroke. Born in Salisbury, N.C., on Oct. 15, 1960, daughter of the late Charles J. and Lena Mae Smoot Bell, she was a 1978 graduate of North Rowan High School in Spencer, N.C. She moved to Pittsfield in 1991. Miss Bell was a caregiver for several families in the area. A member of the Second Congregational Church, she also taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She leaves four sisters, Blondean Hibbler of Pittsfield, Charlena Reid and Hattie Polk, both of Salisbury, N.C., and Mattie Lyerly of Cleveland, N.C., and a brother, Constance "Charlie" S. Bell of Bedford Heights, Ohio. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Victoria "Vickie" Ann Bell, who died Sept. 21, 2003, will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 25, at 11 at Second Congregational Church in Pittsfield by the Rev. Carol Towley, pastor. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in her memory in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
