Carl Paul Myers

Carl Paul Myers, 60, of 179 State St. died yesterday at home, following seven months of poor health. Born in North Adams on Feb. 5, 1943, son of Charles Henry and Myrtle Avis Pratt Myers, he was educated in local schools. He was last employed by The Artery Lounge in North Adams. He also worked at Modern Aluminum Anodizing Co., as well as the RPI Field House in Rensselaer, N.Y., when he was resident of Troy, N.Y. He was a former member of the First Congregational Church of North Adams. He and his wife of 14 years, the former Lisa Dappetto, were married May 13, 1989, in St. Anthony's Church. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Tina Myers of Adams and Jennifer Myers of North Adams; three sons, Steven Myers, Jason Myers and Chucky Myers, all of North Adams; four sisters, Linda Scrivens, Priscilla Hall and Ethel Tripides, all of North Adams, and Arlene Hurley of Adams; two brothers, David Myers and Charles Myers, both of North Adams; and a grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Carl Paul Myers will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., with the Rev. Daniel O'Hear, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Church, officiating. Burial will take place Friday at 10 in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 until the time of the service. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Jude's Children's Hospital through the funeral home. Survivors include a grandson, Austin Myers. He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Pratt, and three brothers, Calvin, Walter and James Myers.
