Bernadette M. "Bonnie" Weaver, 80, of 295 West Main St., North Canaan, Conn., died Sunday at the Charlotte-Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Conn. Born in West Stockbridge on Jan. 25, 1923, daughter of Marcel and Bertha Verchot Pautot, she was a graduate of the former Williams High School in Stockbridge. A homemaker, she worked for the Western Union Co. during World War II. She was a member of the North Canaan Congregational Church and the North Canaan Mother's Club. Her husband, Archie J. Weaver, whom she married Jan. 21, 1945, is deceased. She leaves four sons, Richard J. Weaver of North Canaan, Douglas A. Weaver Sr. of Stockbridge, Mark E. Weaver of Torrington and Dexter J. Weaver of Norfolk, Conn.; two daughters, Deborah Bergenty of North Canaan and Dawn Spadaccini of Zephyrhills, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, a great-grandson and four step-great- grandchildren. Another daughter, Bonnie Palmer, died in 1984. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Bernadette Weaver will be Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at 11 in the North Canaan Congregational Church, East Canaan. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Sand Road, North Canaan. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be sent to the North Canaan Fire Company, P.O. Box 642, Canaan, CT 06018, or to the North Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 178, Canaan, CT 06018 or to the Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association, Salmon Kill Road, Salisbury, CT 06088.
