Timothy Rockford Whalen, 39, of Warner Road, South Egremont, died yesterday at home. Born in Great Barrington on July 3, 1964, son of Hannah Wyman Whalen Agar of Egremont and the late John Mason Whalen Sr., he was a 1982 graduate of Mount Everett Regional School in Sheffield. Mr. Whalen had been employed by Charles W. Agar Fuel Co. since 1993. During the late 1980s, he was part owner and worked at the Touch of Class Lounge in Great Barrington. He also was employed by KMS Printing Co. in Boston from 1991 to 1993. Besides his mother, he leaves his stepfather, Stephen W. Agar of Egremont, and a brother, J. Mason Whalen Jr. of Great Barrington. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Timothy Rockford Whalen, who died Oct. 26, 2003, will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 11 at St. Peter's Church, Great Barrington, by the Rev. Daniel Papineau, MIC, pastor. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, North Egremont. The family will receive friends tomorrow, Oct. 28, from 4 to 7 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, if friend desire, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Hospital Critical Care Bed Fund through the funeral home, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. Tim will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and his wonderful sense of humor.
