Marilyn Gertrude Felix

Marilyn Gertrude Felix, 63, of 254 Mohawk Forest Boulevard died yesterday in the emergency room of North Adams Regional Hospital, where she was taken after being stricken earlier at home. Born in North Adams on Aug. 7, 1940, daughter of Gertrude Aubin Hillard and the late William E. Hillard, she attended the former St. Joseph's High School. Mrs. Felix was a homemaker. She was employed by the former J.J. Newberry's until 1969. She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church and enjoyed fishing. She and her husband, Arthur A. "Sonny" Felix Jr., were married April 15, 1961, in St. Francis' Church. Besides her husband and mother, of Williamstown, she leaves a son, Arthur A. Felix III of North Adams; six sisters, Shirley Cote of Winter Park, Fla., Dorothy DuPont of Danbury, Conn., Mary Vidal of Pownal, Vt., Phyllis Richardson of Shelton, Wash., and Patricia Corbosiero and Nancy Rumbolt, both of North Adams; three brothers, William Hillard of Adams, and Gary Hillard and Bruce Hillard, both of North Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mariyn Gertrude Hillard Felix will be Monday at 11 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, Oct. 26, from 3 to 5. Donations in her memory may be made in care of the funeral home. Survivors include nieces and nephews. A sister, Donna LaPlante, and a brother, Robert A. Hillard Sr., predeceased her.
