Flora M. Arment

Flora M. Arment, 85, of 169 High St. died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Suffield, Conn., on Oct. 16, 1918, daughter of Salvitor and Rose Serafini Frulla, she moved with her family to Goshen, where she attended schools until moving to Lee in the early 1930s. She graduated from Lee High School in 1936. Mrs. Arment worked at the Lee Central School library during the 1970s. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Her husband, Francis J. Arment, whom she married Nov. 19, 1938, died June 4, 1973. She leaves three sons, Francis P. Arment of Cohasset, Thomas J. Arment of Lee and Daniel J. Arment of Saratoga, Calif.; three daughters, Clara A. Sullivan of Suffield, F. Marie Towle of Lee and Kathleen E. Arment of Salem; a brother, George Frulla of Lee; a sister, Gloria "Dolly" Murray of Medfield, 16 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Flora Arment, who died Oct. 31, 2003, will be Tuesday at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be tomorrow, Nov. 3, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony and Mario Frulla, and her sister, Clara Streeter.
