Jacqueline Ann Bard, 69
ADAMS, Mass. — Jacqueline Ann Bard, 69, of 3 Myrtle St. died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, after being stricken at home.
Born in North Adams on May 11, 1934, daughter of Wallace and Viola Brouillette Bostwick, she was a member of the class of 1952 of the former St. Joseph's High School.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Bard had been employed for three years with Cordmaster Corp. of North Adams. She had also worked at Adams Laundry as a seamstress for 17 years.
She was a member of the Polish National Alliance.
She and her husband, Willard "Beaver" Bard, were married Sept. 6, 1969.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, William J. Elmer, Sterling J. Elmer and Glenn E. Elmer, all of Westfield; three daughters, Rose Garms of Tacoma, Wash., and Wanda Stefanick and Barbara Jones, both of Las Vegas, and 12 grandchildren. She also leaves her former husband, Glenn H. Elmer of Westfield.
She was predeceased by another daughter, Mary Wiles.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A funeral service for Mrs. Bard will be Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 3 at MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, Adams. The Rev. Donald J. Gray, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 1 to 3, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Adams Ambulance Fund through the funeral home.
