Florence Mary Gosselin

Florence Mary Gosselin, 92, of 150 Ashland St. died Saturday at Williamstown Commons in Williamstown. Born in North Adams on April 29, 1911, daughter of Hormidas and Delima Ouimet Beaudin, she was educated in local schools, including the former Notre Dame Elementary. She was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1973. Mrs. Gosselin was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. She was a member of the Sprague Quarter Century and Sprague Retirees clubs, the Jollee Circle, the Senior Citizens and the Ashland Park Tenants Association. She leaves nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Florence Gosselin will be Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at 10:15 from AUGÉ-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247. Two brothers, Alfred Beaudin and Victor Beaudin, and three sisters, Rose Horsfall, Anna Beaudin and Corinne Trudeau, are deceased.
