Edward Palivoda

Edward Palivoda, 85, of 380 Park St. died Monday at Park View Specialty Hospital in Springfield. Born in Glendale on Feb. 22, 1919, son of Bronislaw and Marianna Pultorak Palivoda, he attended schools in Stockbridge. He had been employed as a papermaker for the Mead Paper Co. in Lee. Mr. Palivoda was a communicant of All Saints' Church. He leaves a sister, Helen Palivoda of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Edward Palivoda, who died Monday, May 10, 2004, will be Saturday, May 15, at 10 at All Saints Church with the Rev. Anthony Jutt, pastor, officiating. A calling hour will precede from 8:30 to 9:30 at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Edward may be made to the All Saints Church Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
