Leslie Marie Anderson, 51, of 121 River St. died Friday at home after a brief illness. Born in North Adams on Aug. 10, 1952, daughter of Rita Cote Accetta Oslizlo of North Adams and the late Francis Accetta, and stepdaughter of the late Stanley Oslizlo, she attended local schools. She also had resided in West Haven, Conn. Mrs. Anderson worked for several area businesses, including the Williams Inn and the local chapter of the American Red Cross. She also had worked in the office of Chubb Insurance Co. of Connecticut. She was an expert needleworker and enjoyed writing poetry, reading and animals. Besides her mother, she leaves four sisters, Susan Shepard and Karen Accetta, both of North Adams, Kristin Accetta and Jody DiSanti, both of Pittsfield, and her stepmother, Carol Accetta of the state of New York. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Leslie Accetta Anderson, who died May 14, 2004, will be conducted tomorrow, May 17, at 5 at AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 North Church St., by the Rev. Robert Moulton, permanent deacon of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and St. Stanislaus in Adams. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home. Survivors include her brother-in-law, Anthony DiSanti; several nieces and nephews, a grandnephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
