Annette M. Croteau

Annette M. Croteau, 84, formerly of 99 Second St., died Thursday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since Nov. 2, 2001. Born in Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada, on April 18, 1920, daughter of Dennis and Sarah Martin, she attended schools in Baker Lake. She had at one time worked at GE but was primarily a homemaker. Her first husband, whom she married twice, Bernard Croteau, died Dec. 2, 2002. Her second husband, Joseph J. Sibbio, died Nov. 1, 1974. She leaves two sons, Albert Croteau of Las Vegas and Paul Croteau of Canyon Lake, Calif.; a daughter, Colleen Sibbio Maffuccio of Dalton; three sisters, Bertha Sylvester, Rita Jewett and Muriel Chevalier, all of Coventry, R.I.; two brothers, Reginald Martin of Long Island, N.Y., and Emile Martin of Coventry, R.I., and five grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- In honoring Mrs. Croteau's wishes, all services will be private. There will be no calling hours. A brother, Armand Martin of Coventry, R.I., and a sister, Germaine Bedard of Pittsfield, predeceased her. If friends desire, donations are suggested to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
