Joyce Barry, 71, of 12 Marshall Road, Natick, died yesterday morning at Metrowest Medical Center in Natick after a long illness. Born in Great Barrington on Feb. 16, 1933, daughter of Harold and Pauline Milligan Wilcox, she was a graduate of the former Searles High School and the former St. Luke's School of Nursing in Pittsfield. Mrs. Barry retired as a registered nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was a communicant of St. James the Great in Wellesley and an active committee member of the Natick Alcohol and Drug Advisory Committee. She leaves her husband, John B. Barry; three sons, John B. Barry Jr. of Millis, Michael T. Barry of Holliston and Peter Barry of Atlanta; three daughters, Maureen Barry of the state of Florida, Kathy Kneebone of Vermont and Patricia Greenwood of Wayland; three sisters, Jennie Jones of the state of Florida, Judy Durlack of Alford and Sally Chasteen of Texas, and 10 grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Funeral Mass for Joyce Barry will take place Tuesday, June 8, at 10 at St. James the Great Church, Route 9, Wellesley, followed by interment in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at MITCHELL FUNERAL HOME, 105 North Main St., Route 27, Natick.
