Mildred D. Krutiak

Mildred D. Krutiak, 83, of 17 Richmond St. died Wednesday morning at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on Sept. 12, 1920, daughter of Charles "Karl" and Mary Mirke Fulde, she attended Adams schools. Primarily a homemaker, she worked as a domestic for the Follett family for several years and then worked for the former Style Shop in North Adams for 10 years. Mrs. Krutiak was a member of the Home Makers in Savoy. She also taught catechism at St. Mary's Church in Cheshire. Her husband, Stanley Krutiak, whom she married April 18, 1939, died Feb. 20, 1993. She leaves four sons, John Krutiak of Hinsdale, Michael Krutiak and Peter Krutiak, both of Cheshire, and David Krutiak of Adams; three daughters, Jean Raymond of Ballston Spa, N.Y., Linda Brown of Salisbury and Mary Ann Ogden of Cheshire; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mildred D. Krutiak will take place today, July 9, 2004, at 11 at Mary's Church in Cheshire. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours at TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, will be Friday from 8:30 until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to the Cheshire Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home. She also is survived by two daughters-in-law, Janet Krutiak and Karen Krutiak, and by two sons-in-law, Charles Raymond and William Ogden. She was predeceased by two brothers, Carl and William Fulde; seven sisters, Hilda Lindner, Ciel Charbonneau, Anna Wilhelmi, FriedaFalgier, Clare Macek, Ella Trumble and Lena Oslislo, and by two grandchildren, John David and Richard Thomas.
