Lillian Howard

Lillian Howard, 87, of the Barrett House died Thursday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Saddle River, N.J., on March 24, 1917, daughter of John and Margaret Sutherland Colin, she graduated from Walton High School in New York City. Mrs. Howard was employed by TGB Services of New York City as an executive secretary until her retirement in 1984, when she relocated to the Berkshires. Her husband, Patrick Howard, whom she married in 1939, died in 1949. Her son, Alan Howard, died in 1993. She leaves a niece, Arlene A. Aycock of Oroville, Calif. FUNERAL NOTICE-- An inurnment service for Lillian M. Sutherland Howard, 87, who died July 15, 2004, will be held at Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, when members of her family arrive for the funeral. MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Her son, Alan Howard, and her brother, George W. Colin, are deceased.
