Natasha Collette Marie Subklew, 14, of 250 Stebbins Road died July 13 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident while traveling with her mother and sister on Highway 1 in the Yukon Territory. Born Feb. 6, 1990, in Sharon, Conn., daughter of Karl Subklew of Otis and Tina Marie Jones Subklew Byers of Lapine, Ore., she had attended school in Amenia, N.Y. She was an active eighth-grader, enjoying basketball, baseball, track and horseback riding. She had a special love for animals. Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, Tiffany Byers of Lapine and Kiley Subklew of Otis; her maternal grandmother, Kathy Wesley and her husband, Jeremy Wesley, of Santee, S.C.; her maternal grandfather, Ronald Jones of Lakeville, Conn.; her step-grandparents, Ann and Warren Byers of Sun River, Ore.; her paternal grandmother, Dena Guerin of Bonifay, Fla.; her paternal grandfather, Arthur Subklew of Pensicola, Fla., and her paternal great-grandfather, Wilfred Blais of Lakeville, Conn. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Natasha Subklew, who died July 13, 2004, will be Friday evening at 7:30 in Grace Bible Church, 355 Clayton Road, Ashley Falls, MA 01220. Memorial donations may be sent to the Little Guild of St. Francis Animal Shelter, 285 Goshen Sharon Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796. Arrangements are under the care of NEWKIRK-PALMER FUNERAL HOME, 118 Main St., North Canaan, CT 06018. Natasha is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
