Elizabeth Ann Taylor

Elizabeth Ann Taylor, 85, of 4 Ann Drive died Tuesday evening at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Medford on July 5, 1919, daughter of George A. and Ann Bassette Landry, she was a 1937 graduate of Medford High School. Mrs. Taylor was employed as a delicatessen clerk at Harry's Supermarket on Wahconah Street for 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was a communicant of North American Martyrs Church and a member of the Lanesboro Senior Citizens. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and traveling. Her husband, Joseph F. Taylor, whom she married Nov. 20, 1941, died in 1979. She leaves a son, Timothy J. Taylor of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Elizabeth Ann Taylor, who died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lanesboro Ambulance Service in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by a brother, George A. Landry II, and a sister, Mary Irene Cates.
