Linda E. Bakey

Linda E. Bakey, 65, of 160 Point Grove Road, Southwick, a native of North Adams, died Monday at North Adams Regional Hospital while visiting family in the area. Born Aug. 15, 1938, daughter of James and Ann Marie Gregorie Bakey, her family lived in different parts of the country and she attended various schools, graduating from Lincoln (Ill.) High School. Ms. Bakey had been employed as a receptionist for several companies in Connecticut. She enjoyed animals and reading. She leaves a son, Mark John Glunt of Southwick. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Linda E. Bakey will take place Tuesday, Aug. 17, in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There will be no calling hours. FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements. She was predeceased by a sister, Penelope "Penny" Salembadr in 1999, and a brother, James E. Bakey in 1981.
