Mildred Jessie LePak

Mildred Jessie LePak, 92, of 216 State Road died yesterday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on April 6, 1912, daughter of Anthony and Katherine Pokora Luczynski, she was raised in Windsor and in Stamford, Vt., and attended school in Stamford. She also resided in Clarksburg before moving to North Adams 58 years ago. Mrs. LePak was employed at the former Sprague Electric Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1970. She was a longtime communicant of the former Our Lady of Incarnation Church. Her husband, Albert LePak, whom she married Oct. 1, 1934, died Aug. 27, 1998. She leaves a son, Albert J. LePak of Williamstown; a daughter, Joan Eurbin of North Adams; three brothers, Anthony Luczynski of North Adams, Chester Luczynski of Enfield, Conn., and William Luczynski of Fairlee, Vt.; a sister, Florence Greenlaw of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mildred LePak, who died Sept. 14, 2004, will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 17, at 2 in Our Lady of Mercy Shrine in North Adams. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in her memory be made to a charity of the donors' choice through AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 North Church St., North Adams 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
