Monica M. Wojcik, 92, of 16 Crandall St. died yesterday morning at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on July 28, 1912, daughter of Frank and Veronica Szetela Urbanek, she graduated from the former Adams High School. A bookkeeper, Mrs. Wojcik was employed by the former O.W. Gavett Oldsmobile dealership in North Adams and by Aladco. At the time of her death, she had been business manager of St. Stanislaus' Parish for 35 years and office manager of St. Stanislaus' School. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. Her husband, Andrew J. Wojcik, whom she married July 24, 1939, died on Nov. 24, 1970. She leaves a daughter, Mary A. Hult of Madbury, N.H., and two grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Monica M. Wojcik, who died Oct. 4, 2004, will be Thursday, Oct. 7, at 9 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of St. Stanislaus Kostka and Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Members of the St. Stanislaus' Rosary Sodality will meet at the funeral home at 4:45 Wednesday to pay their respects and recite the rosary. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka School through the funeral home. She is survived by her grandchildren, Britta Hult of Davis, Calif., and Anders Hult of Madbury, N.H.; a son-in-law, Kenneth, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She also leaves her extended family: the students, staff and Felician Sisters of St. Stanislaus Kostka School. She was predeceased by her brothers, Aloysius, Casimere and Francis Urbanek, and her sister, Sister Mary Aniela, CSSF.
