Jeanette Louise Lecuyer

Jeanette Louise Lecuyer, 81, of 17 Bob's Hill died Friday morning at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown. Born in Adams on March 25, 1923, daughter of Peter and Rita Greninguey Lecuyer, she graduated from the former Adams High School in 1940. She also graduated from the former House of Mercy School of Nursing in Pittsfield in 1943. A Navy veteran of World War II, she served as a nurse until being discharged with the rank of ensign in 1944. Miss Lecuyer was a nurse for the Adams Board of Health for several years and also a school nurse, until her retirement in 1982. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and was involved with activities there, including its bazaars. She enjoyed reading. She leaves five cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Jeanette Louise Lecuyer will be Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 9 at TROTTIER- PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at Notre Dame Church, Adams, by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Stanislaus. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. A calling hour will be held for one hour before the service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome and donations may be made in her honor to Alzheimer's research through the funeral home. She leaves her cousins Rita Wigglesworth, Pat Rivers, Jon Barnes, Carol Ott and Barbara Soloman.
