Delmae Ferrelli

Delmae Ferrelli, 71, of Austin Farm Road, Exeter, R.I., formerly of Lee, died Thursday at Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I. Born in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., on Nov. 17, 1933, daughter of Robert and Della Johnston Wyllie, she was a 1955 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan and received her master's degree in social work from Rhode Island College. She moved to Lee in 1962, and to Exeter 10 years ago. Mrs. Ferrelli was a psychotherapist for Family Associates in Warwick at the time of her death. While in Lee, she had been a research assistant at Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth in Canaan, N.Y., and secretary of its board. She was a former member of Lee Congregational Church, and a member of Kingston (Conn.) Congregational Church. An accomplished painter, she took top prize in the Pittsfield Art League show in 1975 and helped design a town centennial quilt presented to Lee in 1977. She leaves her husband, Marcus A. Ferrelli; two daughters, Laurel C. Ferrelli of Exeter and Michele A. F. Armitano of Caracas, Venezuela; a son, Robert J. Ferrelli of Van Nuys, Calif.; a brother, Robert S. Wyllie of Santa Clarita, Calif., and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Delmae Ferrelli, who died Dec. 2, 2004, will be held Tuesday at 11 at Kingston Congregational Church, 2610 Kingstown Road, Kingston, Conn. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 at AVERY-STORTI FUNERAL HOME, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, R.I. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jay Nolan Community Services for Autism, 15501 San Fernando Mission, Mission Hills, Calif.
