Pamela Jean Drosehn

Pamela Jean Drosehn, 54, of 191 Middlefield Road died Monday at home of cancer. Born in North Adams on Aug. 11, 1950, daughter of Elizabeth A. Galeucia O'Dell of Zephyrhills, Fla., and the late Ward E. O'Dell, she attended schools in Dalton, including Wahconah Regional High School. She also attended Berkshire Community College nursing program for two years. Mrs. Drosehn was employed as a nursing assistant and as assistant director of a group home for Berkshire County ARC for more than 10 years, leaving in 2001 because of health reasons. She enjoyed cooking and crafts, including knitting, crocheting and needlework. She and her husband, Harvey E. Drosehn, were married Aug. 15, 1968. Besides her mother and husband, she leaves two sons, Harvey E. Drosehn II of Gulfport, Miss., and Barrett D. Drosehn of Dalton; a sister, Lorry Hardy of Zephyrhills, and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A celebration of the life of Pamela J. Drosehn, who died Dec. 6, 2004, will be held at the family home, 191 Middlefield Road, Hinsdale, on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 1 to 5. In her memory, donations may be made to the Eileen Barrett Oncology Center in care of BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226. Among survivors are her granddaughter, Angelia S. Drosehn of Los Angeles; two grandsons, Gavin W. and Griffin J. Drosehn of Gulf Port; daughters-in-law Karen M. Drosehn of Dalton and Wendi Drosehn of Gulf Port; her best friend Maureen Byrne and her daughter, Sarah Bryne; many loving relatives and friends; her two dogs, Bandit and Maggie Mae, and her cat Jingles.
