Donna Marie Fields, 50, of 80 Chase Ave. died Wednesday evening at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, where she was admitted Dec. 11. Born in Hawley on April 6, 1954, daughter of Russell and Jessie Smith Pease, she moved to Greenfield at an early age and was a 1970 graduate of Greenfield High School. Mrs. Fields was last employed by Greenfield Paper Box Co. for seven years. Before that, she worked at Franklin Nursing Home for 10 years. She enjoyed doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and playing bingo. She and her husband, David Ford Fields, celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary Oct. 31. They were married in Greenfield. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Carolyn Stetson and Tina Marie Rodriguez, both of North Adams, and Jennifer Leah Stetson-Rosewarne of Greenfield; two brothers, Ronald Pease of Turners Falls and George McDonald of Greenfield; two sisters, Frances Mary Devine of Greenfield and Elizabeth Pecor of New Hampshire, and nine grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Calling hours for Donna Fields, who died Dec. 29, 2004, will be Wednesday, Jan. 5, from 6 to 8 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams. Burial will be at a later date in Conway. Survivors also include nieces and nephews.
