Patricia Bourdon

Patricia Bourdon, 78, of 1101 Lookout Drive, Apollo Beach, Fla., formerly of Adams, died Thursday at Sun Terrace Health Care Center in Sun City Center, Fla. Born in Southampton, England, on Nov. 5, 1926, daughter of Burt and Jean Rixon, she attended schools there. She came to the United States after World War II. After retiring, she moved to Florida. Mrs. Bourdon had been employed as a secretary by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams, retiring in 1990. She also had worked at the former Berkshire Mills for a short time. While in Adams, she was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas. Her husband, Francis L. Bourdon, whom she married June 10, 1946, died Sept. 12, 1998. She leaves two sons, Donald Bourdon of Apollo Beach, and Michael Bourdon of Gig Harbor, Wash., and two grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Patricia Bourdon, who died Jan. 6, 2005, will take place in Notre Dame Church in Adams at a later date to be announced. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams is in charge of arrangements. She leaves her grandchildren, Elisa Reed and Erin Bourdon, both of Seattle.
