Antoinette "Tony" Toomey

Antoinette "Tony" Toomey, 41, of 111 Bracewell Ave. died Wednesday after being stricken at her home. She was born in Pittsfield on Jan. 16, 1963, daughter of Anita Rosa Bassi and the late Timothy Toomey. She attended schools in Pittsfield and North Adams, including Drury High School. Ms. Toomey was a full-time mother. Besides her mother of Williamstown, she leaves her companion, Donald Morrison, with whom she made her home; two daughters, Jennifer Pidcoe of Vermont and Corinne Morrison of North Adams; a son, Gerald Soucie of North Adams; three sisters, Christine Collins of Stamford, Vt., Patrice DeSanty of North Adams and Jamey Bassi of Baltimore, and a brother, Gerald Toomey of North Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Antoinette "Tony" Toomey will take place Tuesday evening at 6 at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Pastor Marlene Sweeney of the Door of Hope Church in Readsboro, Vt., officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested for her children's education fund through the funeral home.
