Lesa Mary Bormolini

Lesa Mary Bormolini, 93, formerly of 42 Northern Lights Ave., died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Charlemont on Sept. 12, 1911, daughter of Nicholas and Mariangela Daniels Daniels, she moved to North Adams at the age of 2 and attended the former St. Joseph's Grammar School. At age 14, she became employed by the former Hoosac Cotton Mills on Union Street, where she worked for three years, and then worked for five years at the former Blackinton Woolen Mill on Massachusetts Avenue. Before her retirement in 1975, she had been employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for more than 40 years. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony's Church, and a member of the Sprague Quarter Century and Retirees' clubs and the Senior Citizens Club. Her husband, Artso John "Pat" Bormolini, whom she married Oct. 11, 1941, died Feb. 25, 2002. She leaves a daughter, Paula M. Harrison of Hinsdale; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lesa M. Bormolini will be tomorrow, Jan. 25, 2005, at 8:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Church celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. O'Hear, pastor. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today, Jan. 24, from 4 to 6. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for St. Anthony of Padua Church through the funeral home. Survivors also include her grandchildren, Lesa A. Field and her husband, Peter Field, Michelle D. Harrison, Rebecca K. Harrison and Keith W. Harrison; her son-in-law, Keith L. Harrison, and her great-grandchildren, Ryan C. Kordana, Nicholas K. Kordana, Mallory B. Field and Lucas J. Field. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose M. Mazza, on March 4, 1994, and Mary Daniels, and four brothers, Frank Daniels on March 10, 1966, Joseph Daniels on Aug. 6, 1984, and two brothers at a young age.
