Lois Miller

Lois Miller, 61, of North Main Road died Tuesday evening at Fairview Hospital after a long illness. Born on Long Island, N.Y., on Aug. 15, 1943, daughter of Joseph and Sarah Franklin Concannon, she moved to Otis in the early 1950s and was a 1961 graduate of Lee High School. Mrs. Miller owned and operated Whipple Tree Antiques in Otis for 14 years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and riding in antique cars. She also enjoyed fishing and participating in Shriners' events. She and her husband, Lee Miller, celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary Nov. 10. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Lorie Gallagher of New Braunfels, Texas, and Leana Kearin of Lee; a son, Lorn Miller of Uxbridge; two sisters, Betty Schuhmann of Springhill, Fla., and Genevieve Paris of Virginia, and two grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Memorial Service for Lois Miller will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 1 at Otis Congregational Church. There will be no calling hours. Lois would wish, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the charity of one's choice through FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. She also leaves two grandchildren, Nicole and Alex Kearin, both of Lee; her son-in-law, Ron Kearin; her future son-in-law, Edward Kennedy of Converse, Texas; and eight nieces and nephews. She enjoyed laughing with her family and friends.
