Gladys V. Dziok

Gladys V. Dziok, 77, of 56 Summer St. died Friday afternoon at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on Oct. 8, 1927, daughter of Walter and Agnes Kupiec Zamora, she attended St. Stanislaus' School and was a 1945 graduate of the former Adams High School. Mrs. Dziok was employed by the former Waverly Fabrics mill for many years, retiring in 1990. She also worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates for several years. She was a member of the former TMTM Club, and enjoyed bowling and crocheting. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church. Her husband, Joseph Dziok, whom she married Nov. 4, 1950, died Nov. 15, 2001. She leaves a daughter, Jo Ann Falco of Adams, and a grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Gladys V. Dziok, who died March 4, 2005, will be Wednesday, March 9, at 9 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 4 to 7. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital through the funeral home. She leaves a grandson, Mark Falco Jr. of Adams, and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Joseph Zamora, and three sisters, Ceilia Boyd, Monica King and Veronica Wotkowicz, are deceased.
