Jeffrey J. Rock, 44, of 89 Main St. died Tuesday evening at home. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 18, 1960, son of Joseph and Lorraine Winslow Rock, he was a 1978 graduate of Lee High School. He graduated from Berkshire Community College in 1980 with a degree in human services. Mr. Rock moved to Arlington, Texas, and worked for American Airlines in reservations as a department manager and then as a crew scheduler, leaving after 22 years of service because of illness. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Lee. He was a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts, traveling around the world to ride roller coasters. He was an avid artist, a movie buff, and enjoyed animals. Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, David A. Rock of Lanesboro, and two sisters, Karen M. Rock of Arlington, Texas, and Denise A. Stanard of Charlton. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Jeffrey J. Rock will be Monday at 9:15 from the KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 at the funeral home. Friends wishing may make donations to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in c/o the funeral home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, Devin and Eric Rock, and Loren and Ryan Stanard, and his beloved dog Juicy.
