Aldina Esoldi

Aldina Esoldi, 90, of 35 Marjorie St. died Saturday at Laurel Lake Center. Born in Lee on June 6, 1914, daughter of Peter and Pavina Barbieri Zorzin, she was a graduate of Lee High School and the former North Adams State Teachers College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Mrs. Esoldi taught in the Lee and East Lee elementary schools, retiring in 1978. She was a member and past president of the Lee Senior Citizens and Golden Agers. She and her husband, Angelo J. Esoldi, were married Oct. 12, 1944. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, John A. Esoldi of Memphis, Tenn. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Aldina Esoldi, who died Saturday, May 14, 2005, will be held Thursday, May 19, at 11:30 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. There will be no visiting hours. KELLY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
