Clara A. Perry

Clara A. Perry, 91, of 1428 Massachusetts Ave. died yesterday at home. Born in Cohoes, N.Y., on July 9, 1913, daughter of Robert and Alice Luscier Bardsley, she attended schools there. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker. She was a longtime, active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, where she was the second-oldest member. She was also a member of St. Agnes' Guild, the Odd Ladies and the Order of Eastern Star. Her husband, Carleton Elsworth Perry, whom she married Dec. 17, 1932, died Dec. 30, 1983. She leaves a daughter, Cheryl Costine of North Adams, with whom she made her home; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her son, Robert George Perry, died Nov. 8, 2002. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services to celebrate the Life of Clara A. (Bardsley) Perry will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Massachusetts Avenue, Blackinton section of North Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial Donations are suggested for St. Andrew's Church through FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend and her whole wife was centered around family, friends and church. Survivors also include a daughter-in-law, Helen "Fran" Perry; three grandchildren, Ryan Costine and his companion, Sheena Kelly, Keith Perry, and Sharon Perry and her companion, Craig Amos; two great-grandchildren, Bryanna Lynn Costine and Tre Amos, and her loyal dog "Baby."
