Ethel May Hendricks

Ethel May Hendricks, 85, formerly of Dalton Division Road, died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center. She was a resident of Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility for the past year and a half. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 15, 1919, daughter of Jacob and Louise Meyers Hendricks, she was a graduate of Pittsfield schools. Ms. Hendricks was employed as an inspector by GE for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs. She enjoyed playing bingo. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Ethel May Hendricks, who died Monday, Aug. 15, will be Monday, Aug. 22, at 11 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. She is survived by a nephew, William C. Hendricks, and his wife, Cynthia, and a niece, Carol A. Doucette, and her husband, Denis, all of Pittsfield.
