Frances "Betty" Walsh

Frances "Betty" Walsh, 84, formerly of 1641 North St., died Friday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided for the past year. Born in Milton on July 16, 1921, daughter of Joseph and Ada Bauer Walsh, she was a 1939 graduate of Mamaroneck High School. A home health aide, Miss Walsh worked in many private homes. She attended Pilgrim Memorial Church and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, hiking, cooking and playing the piano. She leaves a sister, Marion Walsh of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Betty Walsh will be conducted Thursday at 2 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME 220 East St., by the Rev. Douglas Neiner. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Two sisters, Isabel Parker and Barbara Truran, and a brother, David Walsh, predeceased her. She also leaves four nieces and a nephew.
